• This product is the system to detect and alarm vehicles, person, or obstacles which exist at a dead zone in an adjacent driving lane or area. When making right or left turn by using a turn signal, it generates a distinct beep and LED light to depend on the distance from a detected obstacle, the degree of risk. The system works effectively and robustly for safe driving even in the case of rainy day as well as high speed.

¢Ã Detailed Explanation
• The ultrasonic system has the maximum 5.2 m distance detection capability. (Compared to the other companies¡¯ product, the system has double detection range)
• The system has can maintain its proper function under the high-speed wind stream (The system was tested at 150 km/h and proved for its capability. A test at higher speed is prearranged. )
• The system is not under the influence of raining noise
• The system detects the distance from the other vehicles and humans, and alert with different sounds.
− Detection within 5.2 m (< 5.2 m): LED flashing (even when the car signal lights are off)
− Above 3.5 m (3.5 – 5.2 m): LED flashing, no alert (when detecting vehicles or obstacles across an adjacent driving lane); Same as the 5.2 m case (zone of interest).
− Range of 2 - 3.5 m: intermittent alerting sound (when detecting a car on an adjacent driving lane) ¡æ beep - - - beep - - - beep (caution)
− Range of 1 - 2 m: fast intermittent alerting sound (when detecting a car, on an adjacent driving lane, passing by) ¡æ beep beep beep beep (warning)
− Within 1 m (< 1 m): continuous alert sound (when a car passing by at the very near distance) ¡æ Beep~~~~~~~ (danger)
• The alert sound only activates when the car signal light is on. LED function is always activated.
• If enable the emergency warning light, the alert sound system is off (the same as the normal driving setting without turning on a car signal light).
• A function is mounted not to send the ultrasonic wave & alert sound, if the brake pedal is pressed and the signal light is on for longer than 5 seconds, when driving at low speed or being stopped while a car is turning right or left.
• As soon as the brake is released, the system returns back to the normal operational setting for alert sound system.
• Function to disable the ultrasonic wave & alert sound when a car is moving reverse.
• The product has the two different power supply systems with respect to the car type: 12 V input (10 - 15 V) power type for standard sedans, SUV, small cargo vans; 24 V input (20 - 30 V) power type for mid to large cargo vans.

¢Ã Sensor Installation
• Install in the angle 20¡Æ~30¡Æ, from the side of the rear bumper corner to the back of that.
• The optimal installation: the alert sound should go on, right before the headlight of the approaching car from the back disappears from the side-mirror view (refer to the figure).
¢Ã Note
• There is a possibility of error for the following surrounding distractions: near by other ultrasonic sensors, construction noise, or sudden impact sound.
• Since this product is a driving assistant device, the surrounding must be visually checked.
